Thanks for that input, Prince. It had been described a little differently to me. Go Rams.

Yes Mike Kne was a great O-lineman. We both came in as freshman together, but just to let you know he left Fordham over having to pay $500 a semester. He let his former teamates down, but it's good to see him getting playing time now. I'm sure he worked really hard to get there and I hope he makes it to the NFL.

That was the situation told to me going into our sophmore year. It may or may not be accurate (

my guess is that prince has the info all wrong, as usual. (

Prince has about half of it right. Mike had the ability to transfer and play at Ohio State. Do you think he would have ignored that opportuity to stay at Fordham over a couple thousand bucks? You are don't know Mike that well if that is what you think. (

I am not saying he was wrong for going to Ohio State. It was good for him and bad for our team. It was his right and nobody on the team ever said he was wrong. (

I understand that. These guys think that the only reason he transfered was because the finacial aid package. That had little if anything to do with it. He felt he could play at a higher level. Not everyone thinks spending four years in the bronx is the greatest thing in the world. (

" These guys think that the only reason he transfered"- no, "these guys" who have supported the program for 30 years, were merely questioning how we could let a player of this caliber go IF it were true that it was due to ineptness in the financial aid department; your explanation makes me feel better about it since you are saying that had nothing to do with it; and don't be so sarcastic about "these guys" who are looking out for the best interests of all players who choose to come to the Bronx to play football. Two quotes: "I am not saying he was wrong for going to Ohio State." and "He let his former teamates down, but it's good to see him getting playing time now." Which is it Prince? (

He did let us down, but that's not to say I am not happy to see him playing on national tv. I still consider him a friend and we talked a few times after he went to Ohio State. As a team it hurt us, but it was his life and his decision and a real friend isn't going to say I hope he does bad. What should I say, that I hope he fails, no that would be stupid and if you have a problem with me saying I wish him the best then you have a problem. (

In one quote you said he let you guys down and in another you said he was not wrong for leaving, to me that sounded contradictory. A guy letting his team down sounds like a wrong thing to me. Your saying you wished him well seemed more like an aftertought since it was preceeded by a "but". I never said I had a problem with yoour wishing him the best. (

People do things that are good for themselves, but bad for others.By going to OSU, he did something that was bad for our team, and he thought it was good for himself. . (

Now in my opinion he made a terrible decision. I would rather start every game for four years at Fordham and get the chance to play a lot football, rather than go to OSU and scrub. Mike didn't play a lot at OSU. He redshirted a year, was on scout team for a year, and backed-up the past two years and I believe the only reason why he started the bowl game was because someone was hurt. Now if you consider yourself a person who loves playing football, then that doesn't seem like a fair trade just to stand on the sidelines of a nationally televised game. (

"He let his former teammates down", then what is that supposed to mean? (

It means that he disappointed us by not being there our sophmore year. We built a good chemistry between our O-line during the spring and he threw it off by transferring. (
