Re: Perhaps, but let's face it - Army and Navy, by their own admission, have returned to a "4-4-3" scheduling philosophy - 4 stretch games, 4 games with an equal opponent, and 4 games with an opponent against whom they will be favored. Many so-called "non-scholarship" schools have fit into that model historically, among them Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Pennsylvania, Colgate, Lafayette, Holy Cross, Lehigh, and Bucknell. These days, Fordham certainly falls into that class of opponent. I will concede, however, that a 25, 40 or 63-scholarship program might be more attaractive. -- FORDHAM RAMS FOOTBALL FORUM
