I posted my views on this year's fball this past Friday and they have not changed because we lost another one. I do take exception to some of the comments farther down the board which blame: the coach, the facilities the alumnni penetration (sounds obscene) etc. ad nauseum. We are what our record is (Bill Parcells). We lost more games than we won because the other teams played better. We lost yesterday because after a terrific start we screwed up on offense and did not hold on defense. No one gave up, Colgate played better when it mattered most. While I have not seen the locker room, the facilities are OK. We are not in against Notre Dame or Oklahoma. We play pretty much on a level field with our opponents. As a matter of fact the field was tipped in our favor against Albany & Duquense. Take those two games away and we are three & six against "fair" competition.
