James Madison finished the regular season with a higher rank than Lehigh (#8 vs. #16).
James Madison drew more fans per game this season than Lehigh (12,790/game vs. 9,598/game).
Yet, James Madison is playing its first-round playoff at Lehigh today.
My guess is the Mountain Hawks/Engineers were awarded the home playoff game because they have better facilities (Goodman Stadium).

Home field advantage not enough for the Mountain Hawks as they fall to James Madison, 14-13. Lafayette is losing to Delaware, 7-0, in the first quarter. (NT)ramMan15:27:23 11/27/04 Sat
