To those who watched Miss Universe 2005 lately on LBC,
did you notice Billy Bush before the Top15 announcement?
He said:

The Top15 were chosen by a separate panel of judges ALONG WITH THE ORGANIZATION!

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? The Organization chooses them or some of them as was early rumoured? Is that fair?!!!!
It just makes me feel sick seeing the same countries with different girls doing it year after the other,
Im working on a statistical study about it that will show.

[> Subject: Fan-man, apparently it was already decided that 10 girls would be chosen by prelim judges, and the other 5 by the MU org. That's because they knew the judges would never choose a black or asian delegate... only Latinas and Europeans, to make it look like they know what they're doing! T&T, Israel and Indonesia were probably chosen by the org for a "balanced" look, whether they deserved it or not. All of this is just speculation, of course.

[> [> Subject: Like I said fan-man, it's not that simple. See how many of us have different ideas on beautiful girl? There's only a few girls that we all agree on. A REAL judge should be able to choose those girls.... the ones they think the whole world can agree on... and put aside their personal favs. Of course, not all judges can do this, and the task itself is not easy.... they have 81 countries to please! Maybe a whole bunch of the judges liked Egypt... but wouldn't dare choose her or else they'd get a good slap from daddy Trump.... LOL! There's really no way to know. :)

[> Subject: Here's another thing, they never revealed the names and nationalities of the prelim judges... who knows what deals/prejudice/etc. they could have had! That's why MU will never be "fair"; it's such a huge roll of the dice. There's no point wasting breath about it. Let's just work on improving our girls and making them shine! :)

[> [> [> Subject: Oh, I meant the preliminary judges... The ones on TV are only for the final night. They don't make much of a difference, cause after the top 15 is selected their job is much easier.... just pick whoever they cheer the loudest for!!

[> Subject: The prelim judges' names were posted and they were all Americans (most work for Trump in other capacities). MU pre-selects it's winner before hand. It's quite obvious. Miss Canada's win wasn't a surprise at all. But I agree with most, she had the best bod but her face is off.

[> Subject: well, it is the way it works in most International beauty pageants, after Miss World last year we had the same ffeeling, but those Mega organizations seem not really to care, I think smaller contests are much more credible such as Miss Earth!
