Subject: ofcaurse I prefer the girl who represents Egypt looks and talks more Egyptian! However, this does not make a poor Arabic talker a worse representative, in 2002 we had Inas Gohar whose 1st language is French and she managed to win the Model of Africa title and to place in the Top15 in Miss Earth 2002.

In reply to: luna 's message, "Re: Well Luna, I don't know what are you talking about actually but it seems that you got the idea all wrong, NO non-Egyptian girls are allowed in Miss Egypt contest! It's one of the main requirments for any application to be accepted is to hold the Egyptian citizenship and this rule can not be ignored! However, half-Egyptian applicants can also be accepted and it happened many times because they are treated as Egyptian citizens. About Miss Alex, I think Madlin is at least half-Egyptian, it is not possible that she is not Egyptian but she might not know how to talk arabic well." on Sunday, June 26, 02:55:49am
