Right up there with sugh greats as Sara Shaheen and Arwa Gooda. She has the physique, the poise, and the intellect. All which are very important in choosing Miss Earth. He beauty is only seconded by her presence. As it was shown in the Miss Egypt Pagent, she spoke very eliquently and smart. She doesn't appear to be your traditional air-head beauty. She is actually very well educated and knowlegeable. I also tip my hat off to Mr. Youseff Sebahi for his organization skills and management. However, I hope Face2Face, is taking into consideration that in order to win, more must be done. More in terms of awareness and publicity. Elham's selection and representation should be highly publicized in both Egypt and the hosting country. This is nessessary to create appeal for her already growing popularity. Mr. Sebahi, you are doing a good job, as has shown from Elham's previous envolvment and publicity before and her publicity now. However, I highly encourage you to beef it up a bit. Well...time is running ..and i think Elham is preparing for Miss Earth...with her amazing pictures....I think Elham is our hi hope this year to do something for Egypt...her age/self confidence/personality all along with her face and body putting her on the right track to make a score for Egypt...she is qualified enough ....for this....if she didnt do anything!!!!!!! i think we have to reconsider our participation in these competitions.

Author: lorra [ Edit \| View ]	Date Posted: Sunday, August 14, 10:03:50pm I just want say im happy for elham in representing Egypt in miss earth a very good choice i like elham she's beatiful & smart girl & I hope the miss Egypt org are starting to prepare her for miss earth & I dont know but can u tell us fan man if there is any information about her gown & custom & if there is any preperation for it I have few notes I hope that it can be considered we didn�t see elham in a swim suit so im not sure how fit she is but in the site it said that her weight is 50 KG & that�s perfect but again there should be monitoring for her weight since a lot of the activities in miss earth the contestants will be in there swim suit elham had an oily face in the miss Egypt final night I don�t know if it was natural or due to anxiety and she also have a beautiful long hair witch will need a lot of care & attention during activities so she should have a stylish to guid her also her cat walk just like mariam there both inexperienced with it & need training but mariam didnt have alot of time to be prepared for miss universe a lot of beautiful girls this year in miss earth so it wont be easy at all & I really think that miss earth is only getting bigger & bigger each year & Egypt is doing a fine job thanx [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

WELCOME DINNER: Just beautiful! This flower makes you look cuter than you already are! reminds me alot with Miss Universe 1998! I recommend putting it on the final night too! but lose the earings:)

NATIONAL COSTUME: The same costume, except it looks much more interesting here!Maybe because no crown, looks awsem!

PARADE: Meriam! This flower is probably the best thisng you have ever done to your look!I just love it! The gown doesn't look much flattering!

I just don't understand this, why to remove her pics? they are not even in swimsuit, and if everyone thinks that participating in beauty pageants is a sin why did they participate at the first time? Overall, I think that this year's delegates are weaker than last year's, yet some of this year's delegates are getting SO MUCH UNDESERVING HYPE! If you have gone to the Global Beauties site, you will notice that Miss Canada has been voted as Miss Photogenic...You will also notice that GB used the evening gown photos for the ladies who placed #2-#5 but Natalie's photo is an air-brushed Fadil Berisha shot that makes her look 1000x better than she really is. Miss Canada's evening gown pic is rather unflattering and shows us the odd shape her face has and that's why GB probably didn't use it. Did GB base their choices on air-brushed pics or un-touched photos? Here's what Natalie looks like without any air-brushing. Compare this to Meriam George's un-touched photo. Who honestly looks better? Un-biasly Miss Egypt of course! I am very puzzled as to how certain delegates get hyped. Is it their looks? I DON'T THINK SO. Just look at GB's Miss Photogenic! Is it the fact their photos are posted online everyday? Maybe their personalities...even though 99.999% of all pageant probably haven't even talked with them to actually know who has a great personality and who doesn't. The objective of this post isn't to insult Miss Canada at all. It is just to question what makes a delegate "a front runner". Meriam, to me, is such a natural beauty. With or without make-up she takes my breath away. Her facial features are great looking and the one thing about her that I always see in her pics is CLASS! I hope Meriam doesn't take things like GB's Miss Photogenic or Top 15 list seriously. I hope she feels proud of how she is representing Egypt and herself. And if it were up to me, I would hype Miss Egypt and let everyone know that they are missing out big-time. To Meriam: You deserve that MU crown just as much as anyone else. So much has happened since I last checked online...

First and foremost, I am completely shocked by the sad news. My heart almost stopped when I read those words... Boudour was not only one of the most beautiful girls to have competed at Miss Egypt (in my humble opinion), but she also had an unmistakable, glowing energy. She seemed like such a wonderful person, and I only regret we couldn't know more about her. We may have lost her physcially, but her memory will live on forever.

On a different note, I am extremely proud of Meriam. We might complain about the politics/sashes/same-old-story, but at the end of the day, it's not worth the negativity. Meriam did an excellent job representing Egypt; that's all that matters. She showed herself to the Thai people with grace, respect, and charisma. Most importantly, she has helped change the Egyptian stereotypes and pave the way for future girls. I know our time will come soon...

Thank you for everything, Meriam.

May God have mercy on Boudour's soul, and may He grant her family peace in their time of suffering.

nadine(our country's delegate for the Miss Universe 2005 in Thailand), is a very nice lady. She exudes grace and elegance with a lot of sex appeal. Other people might say that she's not like that , she's like that but no matter what other people say about her, they simply can't bring a good person down. I can say that she is one person who I want to see in the TOP 15 coz she deserves it. This girl has worked so hard for this.

Tomorrow, the whole universe will be one in watching the 2005 Miss Universe pageant in Thailand. We lebanese (arabs in general) wish of course for the best for nadine and mariam. At this time, all scores were already tabulated for the Top 15 since the preliminary pageant was already held sometime last week. We just hope that she impressed the judges during the preliminaries as much as she impressed me.

But if worst comes to worst, I think nadine and mariam deserve an applause from all of us. they represented the country well. Never had I seen a arab candidate (besides christina and georgina) in an international beauty pageant who represented the country that way they did.

ladies, we wish you all the best. I know you can make it. Just be yourself and have fun besides that's the real essence of why you're there. Have fun sweetie and you'll see, the spark in you will glow and will work for your advantage.

Dear Meriam:

I know you check this discussion board so I just wanted to let you know how proud we are of you!

You were a shy, soft spoken girl and you were able to compete with the top ladies in the universe and stand your ground!

Everyone who's seen your photos knows that you are naturally beautiful, with or without make-up, and during prelims you mainatined your sweetness and naturalness on stage for the whole universe to look at!

Many people started talking about Miss Photogenic and their lists always included the same names. But as Fan-Man said, Miss Photogenic does not equal true beauty. You are true beauty!

In the close up interview video, you were very brave, as you decided to answer your questions in English, which is something that surprised me and many other people! Good job!

Last year I told myself that Heba El-Sisy would leave big shoes to fill because she was awesome at MU. I didn't think anyone who was crowed Miss Egypt 2005 would be able to continue her success....but you did! =)

Meriam George, whether or not you place in the Top 15 tomorrow, you are a true winner, a wonderful soul and someone who deserves a lot of praise.

When you are on stage tomorrow, think of all of your fans who are in the audience and the ones who are at home watching you because we are all behind you 110%

I, as well as the other 4 fans mentioned in your site: donaldduck, lorra, dream and waldo, have loved you since the start and let me tell you IT WAS OUR PLEASURE TO SEE YOU GROW AND BLOSSOM INTO A WONDERFUL REPRESENTATIVE FOR EGYPT!

I can't watch her video, but some people told me that she was nervous, lets wish that the judges will understand. -- fan-man, Sunday, May 29, 10:49:28am Yes, Meriam looked a little nervous in her prelim videos but still very pretty! So many other delegates were confident but looked so heavily made up. Miss Egypt was natural looking and sweet, something I didn't find in any other delegate! I like Miss Egypt's costume EXCEPT the skin coloured fabric around the stomach. When she walks, it bunches up. Anyways, her face looks gorgeous here.
