Yes unfortunately international pageant dont count only the god given beauty, otherwise USA, Venezuela and latin american countries would never win a title...

[> [> [> [> Subject: Having plastic surgery is becoming more and more acceptable. In the beauty contests we have to make a distinction though between a plastic surgery which is done once and for all and a plastic surgery that need to be repeated regularly to keep the intended shape. While I find the first category is acceptable and meant to complement what God gave us, the second one should not be.

[> [> [> [> Subject: I support though the attitude of Face2face because according to what I hear, see and read the medical sector of plastic surgeries in Egypt is not that well advanced and consequently the results are not 100% guaranteed. Besides, sending the winners to have surgeries abroad seem unpractical and very expensive. By the way, rumors said that Lamita did not get the title of Miss Lebanon 2004 although she was by far the prettiest (at least in my eyes!) because she was known for her many plastic surgeries.

[> [> [> [> [> Subject: I just want to make something clear, Face To Face accepts applicants who had surgeries before, eventhough it did not happen yet, but any girl who is beautiful and well-educated is welcome to win the title, even if she is plastic. However, Face To Face refuse to force the winner under the knife for any reason.
