I've wondered if everyone involved just wants to 'get' Mulder and put him in his place for being so darned nosey and not minding his own business.

I'm sure Mulder is important too. CSM has said how important he is to the equation. But maybe they also want to get him out of the way and really punish him for all the trouble he's caused over the years!
Or could the Bounty Hunter have done this on his own without instruction from his bosses? Maybe he just hates Mulder and kidnapped him for the heck of it.

What I'd like to know is, with the syndicate toast amd CSM presumably dead, who is calling the shots? Is it all just the aliens now giving instructions to the BH or whoever? Are any earthlings still in cahoots with the aliens? I don't think Krycek amd Marita are.

As for the baby, I just thought it looked like a boy as I recall but I don't know for sure.

And Scully is definately chummier with Mulder. She got a real charge out of hearing Mulder say he hit the auditor and she seemed to enjoy defying authority right along with him. Mulder's corrupted Scully. He's such a bad influence! hee hee :-)

Hmm. I wonder if, the fact that Mulder was in the office alone when Skinner came to yell a him for going to Oregon without permission was because Mulder told Scully that he'd take the heat for it and leave her out of it. Aw, how sweet!
