Subject: All Shippervillians were caught by surprise
In reply to: kande 's message, "JD twirls around to see that the television has come on." on 04:40:12 10/26/01 Fri

by this sudden change of events. As each and everyone of them received their packets, they opened them carefully looking for any strange white dust. They were relieved to find nothing other than the somewhat cryptic information printed on flourescent lime green paper. Choking back different levels of nausea, most Shippervillians formed the opinion that this was a pile of alien doodoo.

"Space apples" thought Scully as she read the manifesto. "What a pile of disgusting, inane, nonsense. I wish Mulder was here--he'd find a loophole for us! This place is no Arcadia but I think I could handle living there for a while!"

As the days went by, more and more of the true Shippervillians became suspicious of anything moving on two feet. CW stayed at home, peering out the window at any strange sound or movement that her surveillance cameras picked up. "No reason to take any chances and this way I have proof of what's happening out there. Certainly nobody will believe just little old me!"

JD, meanwhile keeping his alien-imposter secret weapon solely to himself, decided to do a little investigating. "Where is that television signal coming from?" He wondered. Climbing on top of the roof, he took out his binoculars and checked out Shipperville. Looking for anything that looked even remotely like a broadcasting tower, he finally found three suspicious looking metal structures. "Better check those out first" he muttered to himself.
