It appears the post I sent yesterday morning didn't get through, though it was hardly worth noting, being just one word. Anyway, I AM a bit puzzled as to why Mick beat around the bush on this issue, and didn't just go and perform himself, since he's done that on more than one occasion. After all, Paul McCartney "represented" the Beatles, so why not Mick "representing" the Stones? I think he missed something on that. Oh well, perhaps Keith's mentioning of Brian spooked him enough to fear someone questioning him on the subject, but still, he missed the opportunity of a lifetime to sing at the Olympics. Just Saying.
