Wow very imformative read there ,os...never knew Brian's mother was a closet drunk so to speak, iknew both his parents were strict. I assume she became a bitter alcoholic after she lost child?
Losing a child is the worst, i have family members that have lost kids,my MIL bless her soul lost 4 children, she never recovered, had a nervous breakdown at one point and became very over protective of her youngest child.Had aunt and uncle on both sides lose a child one became a hard core drunk wel he was border line before losing child.Other side never went down that road, but they never got over it ,and they never will. my point is losing a child effects parents in a different way some rebound and live a productive life and others never do ,but they never get over it.Any way back to my original question was always a drunk? sorry if i rambled on
