I like designing web sites and making graphics. It's another way I can nourish the creatrix within (f*ck the inner child, she's in time out). I figured that the collages were a way of you expressing yourself creatively as it does take an artistic touch to suss out where everything should go. Just because a person said nothing about them doesn't mean they were not appreciating them.

I actually think it would be a great Idea for there to be a thread dedicated to the collages as they obviously took a great deal of time and effort and there are many people who love them!

Everyone has a right to their own opinion, if stated in a respectful way. I believe it was. I probably would not have used those words, but he tried to do it as nicely as he could. We all have our limitations. God only knows I have posted things that have come out differently than what I had intended.

You obviously like your work or you never would have posted it. Obviously many others enjoy it as well. Take that inner knowledge that you have created something pleasing to yourself and others through this medium, and allow for differing opinions without it causing damage to yourself or making you feel any less fluid and glorious than you did when you were putting them together. This is the very foundation of self confidence.

You are a lovely person, Linda, and a fantastic artist. I don't think anyone here would disagree.

If I may be so bold, I would like to expound on Art Smart's comments. Perhaps expound would not be the right word...give my interpretation of them based on the way I think he is structured. Now, I have seen him do this before. He'll make a post first and then post a pic afterwards as a reply so that the pic isn't the first thing that's in your face when you come to the board. That's exactly what I would do as well.

I think that some people like to read the subject, pick out the ones that would be of interest to them, and make a choice to click on the link to see what is posted, whether it be written or an image. When it is posted first in a thread, it eliminates "choice" and is right there in your face. For some people, choice is important. For others, it is not - we are all very different people.

I propose as well that you make a whole thread for the collages so that they can all be in one place and no one need to search for them. I also propose that you don't stop making them or take them down as they truly bring a lot of joy to not only you but many others. Please don't be upset with differing opinions. They are just opinions, but we are all friends, so everyone just needs to take a pill.

Well...internet friends anyway...lol.

And how the hell can he be you twos special friend when he is my damn special friend? He posted the little lamb for MEEEEEEEEEE! Now you two bunny boilers push off!
