Welcome to the board! I've been busy all weekend and am just now coming back on. I seem to have opened up a can of worms! Sorry about that!

Thank you for your input into the nature of Brian. I respsect that you don't agree with my "theory", I'm used to people not believeing me anyway, but I'm sure you're right that Brian would never INTENTIONALLY "blow the whistle" on the industry. He was both a nice and nasty guy, depending on who you talk to and how he was feeling on any particular day, but from what I've learned, whether he intended to or not, he still had the "evidence" that would have implicated the whole industry if the tales of his "tapes" and the "paperwork" that needed to be destroyed were true.

It appears you don't believe the tapes and papers existed. Blessed are you for feeling that way. I spent a lifetime of calm peace thinking Brian had died accidentally, due to his asthma (that's what I heard on the news that night so long ago), and have been horrified in the past few years with all this "murder" stuff.

Unfortuanately, The more I looked into it, the more I was convinced he was murdered indeed! For me, the "misadventure" conclusion doesn't hold any water, if you pardon the pun, since his tox report indicated no drugs and very little (for Brian) alcohol in his system. If this were the case, and the "horsing around" theory were true, it would be considered manslaughter, and the others involved would have been prosecuted for that. They weren't. No one came up with a decent reason why.

Be all of this as it may, at least there are those on this board that have an ability to ignore the evidence they don't want to believe. I really like this about LARS. There are those whom I agree with now, and those I would have agreed with back then. Unforutnately for me, I'm a born dot-connecter, and in the vast sea of Brian Lore there are more dots than I can count!

Again, I'm sorry to have offended your memory of your friend. That was unintentional. He was wonderful the way he was, I adored him, even if there were a few "warts" on his character (he seemed to get violent when provoked). As another Brian fan, I consider you a friend...no matter what we both think is the "real" truth. Long live his memory.
