Just a few points the song brings to mind:

1. Um, the ozone hole is actually shrinking. It's also divided into two. It should be closed by 2015. The globe is still warming, however.

2. I agree that the TV shows are "bawdy", but that's a reason to bomb Britain, not Iraq, since it seems that the worst shows are derived from programs from that country. Actually, it's more of a reason to bomb Los Angeles, since really it the TV executives fault for not having any imagination, save for a few bright spots like 24 and Alias. I would mention The West Wing, but producer Aaron Sorkin seems to have been driven insane since Bush entered the White House, so it's dropped off the list.

3. For all the talk worldwide about how terrible it is that Bush is pushing for invading Iraq, I'm actually impressed by how he's altered his position to build a worldwide consensus behind him. And I believe it is a good thing that Saddam Hussein be confronted for its behavior.

4. That being said, this administration is pushing too hard and clearly chomping at the bit for war. Given that Hussein heads an officially recognized government (unlike the Taliban), a declaration of war is necessary. Given that we now have this U.N.-approved framework to determine whether an attack is necessary, we really need to let that play itself out.
