I do honestly know how you feel, and it's quite possibly the worst feeling in the world. It doesn't do much for a person to discover there can be so much hate and anger directed towards a group of people simply over differences.

Last year, I wrote a paper on Prejudice and Discriminations against American minorities. The paper of course led to deeper research, and I came across things I wish I had never found.

One in particular stuck out in my head, and I don't think I'll ever forget the sick feeling I got when I came across it. Reverand Fred Phelps and his crew set up the godhatesfags.com website, and go about setting dates for picketing gay events or, even worse, the funerals of victimized homosexuals. Probably the worst out of any of that though is their "memorial" to Matthew Shepard. Chilling.

The world is a horrible place sometimes. Sometimes, you just feel like crawling up into a hole somewhere and hiding out the rest of your days because of what you could face out there.
