Carl- If you can remove the leveler on your own, take it to a hydraulic repair shop. It probably just needs to have new shaft seals installed. HWH has always assured me that they will repair anything that has ever been manufactured by their facility in Moscow, Iowa. If you are within a few hundred miles of there, I'd drive over and let them go over the system. Their labor has always been very reasonable and there are several campsites with hookups on the premises.

Shane, Thanks for the response. I have called them and they have told me that they are NOT field serviceable but I highly doubt that there is some magical potion they control.. Seems to be just a simple hydraulic cylinder etc. I live in NC some going there is not likely to happen until next trip west. I read on this site about a bird owner who did service his own and downloaded his instructions.

Carl- you're right. A good shop can rebuild it. It won't be a pretty as HWH, but probably alot cheaper since shipping a 80# chunk of metal can't be all that cheap- and it will leak ATF all over the package!
