Hello, I have been a reader of this forum for a few years but this is my forst post. I guess I dont fit the typical Blue Bird owner profile but thats ok I guess. Im 30 years old, married with a 2 year old little girl. my grandfather has owned Bluebirds for quite some time now and I have always dreamed of traveling with my family someday in a Bluebird. He is getting to the age that he is not sure he will be using his Bird much more and it has been sitting about 3 years. He knows my interest and has expressed interest in selling me his Bird. We are heading out to get it out of storage tomorrow and look it over. It has had the same diesel sitting for the last 3 years or so in it. Is there anything you guys would reccomend adding to the fuel before it is started or any other reccomendations before starting a Bird after sitting for that time? What other things should I look at? I already know its due for a full set of tires and an oil change. Any advise is much appreciated. This is a 1996 BMC 37' Cummins. About 60k miles on the rig. Thanks in advance.
Justin
