I have been lurking around for some time and have some questions about wanderlodge models. We may be downsizing, and a 35' or 36' Wanderlodge may be in our future. I thought about converting a bus, but the wife will kill me, and I don't have a place to do it. I love the look and construction of models before the advent of fiberglass caps and slideouts. So here goes. I've narrowed it down to sp36 or fc35. For the sp 36, are there pass through ext compartments? How many? Where are the fw and holding tanks? Is the fuel tank in front of engine/trans between frame rails? For the fc 35, where are the fw and holding tanks, are the only options twin beds or side full bed? And I know no one likes this question and it is dependent on driveline gear ratios, and weight, but what can you expect in mpg? I know of Detroit engined mcis with 10 mpgs; I have a cat 330 in my 40 ft mh and can get 8 mpg consistently. But I don't know about the 3208? Thanks for letting me lurk and learn!
