Dennis I publicly admit you have chosen a good thing in spreading the love of God. I know you are trying to get along with me as you are with all others. The issue is not your love or God's love, it is the nature of God and the ability of Satan to counterfeit.
I also am not doubting your salvation. My biggest problem is that the Universalism doctrine can potentially annul the need to come to Christ in this life because it teaches that you have a second chance. Does that not sound like a lottery for eternal life to you? Specially considering Dennis that you at best hope you are right and believe it is the truth, but you don't "know" it to be true. Is that right?
What is Satan's goal? Is it not to keep people away from the cross? How will he do this? (Ans.) Anyway possible. And a second chance theory fits the bill. If you are wrong do you want to be accountable? As for me, the truth is that hell may be a place for eternal punishment and if is wrong and I am positive Scripture agrees with me that their is a hell of eternal punishment, then I have nothing to be ashamed of because I stressed the warning of a hell. If you're wrong, then you have to consider all who easily and willfully follow you on the path of least resistance.
Would you like that accountability on your shoulders?
