I'd hate to have lived through the war. Jan was so into that stuff. We have about a million DVDs on WWII and everytime it used to come on TV he's be glued to the set. Even now if he comes along shopping with me he buys war DVDs. He's drawn to them.
Years ago on a Sunday night around tea time they'd show World at War. I use to feel ill watching it even then and I'd tell him to watch something else but he never would. I think if your parents went through all that you would be drawn to it. I'd be having tea thinking about all those bodies piled up. Oh those poor people.
