(He arched a brow as he listened to Shay speak, watching his best friend's shoulders slump as he heard the stipulations she was offering. He knew deep down that Remy would walk over hot coals to be there for her, no matter what physical pain it meant for him.. and that he would do anything she wanted him to do, but he had a feeling that was asking too much.) (He nearly sighed in relief when she agreed to the c-section, then sat up straight when she said he couldn't be in there.. a frown deepening the features of his face as he gazed at her.) Shay.. it would be a thousand times worse for me not knowing. (He countered, leaning in and holding her as the next contraction hit her.. they were sort of having a conversation between contractions.. though he knew that every moment they wasted talking this over was putting her through excruciating pain. When it was over, he simply leveled himself over her and searched her eyes.) If you love me you'll not argue.. we dont have the time for this.. we need to get you in there and get this over with. (He looked over at Kate.) You and Kyrian can leave.. I am staying with her and that's final. (He nodded to the doctor.) Lets get this started. (He was himself, even though a lot was going on and he was upset, the medication was working and he was clear headed... he might freak out later when it was over but he was there for her now.)
