I am a an art teacher at our local community college. I often assign seating the first few weeks of classes, draw a seating chart with names. I have no short term memory!

I have recently added a daily herb 'Bacopa' to my diet. I do not sell this product nor am I recommending it to you but it has helped me.

A study is reported on the effects of Brahmi (Bacopa monniera) on human memory. Seventy-six adults took part in a double-blind randomized, placebo control study in which various memory functions were tested and levels of anxiety measured. There were three testing sessions: one prior to the trial, one after three months on the trial, and one six weeks after the completion of the trial. The results show a significant effect of the Brahmi on a test for the retention of new information. Follow-up tests showed that the rate of learning was unaffected, suggesting that Brahmi decreases the rate of forgetting of newly acquired information.

Go to the library and check out or request (if the library doesn't have them they will order them) two books, "The Gift of Dyslexia" (you will love this easy read) and "Gabby's Wordspeller Phonetic Dictionary" ISBN 978-0-9801025-1-2. These two things will make you soooo happy and confident!
