Henry popped the trucks hood, watching as steam trickled up off the engine. He couldn't see well enough to tell what was going on with the old truck, but he'd guess the radiator needed to be replaced. "Let me get a flashlight out of my jeep" He turned and headed a few cars down, leaning into a dirt brown jeep with bright blue doors, pulling a large maglight out from under the rear seat.

Hefting the mass of black steal, he lit up the engine compartment with the beam of light. He stared at it for a few minutes, poking here and there as he looked for the cause "Think your radiator's shot... If we let it cool for a few hours, fill it up with water you might be able to get it over to the shop if you drive slow... The motel in town is pretty bad, but we'v got a few spare rooms at the ranch. Or you could stay in the barn with the horses" He smirked teasingly, doubting a woman like her would be so paranoid as the big city girls were. But it was polite to offer anyhow, maybe she'd rather spend the night in the barn than in a strangers house... 'Least barns were mostly all the same

He stepped over the pup as he moved to look at the side of the radiator, checking for obvious cracks or damage. With luck, it was just the radiator, but who knew. For all he knew of the truck it could be rotten on the underside!
