Craig kept his face carefully neutral as the starnger spoke, noticing the odd look in his eyes and the uncomfortable way he moved. Undoubtedly this guy wasn't used to needing help, yet he didn't try to cause a fuss and say he didn't need it. That spoke volumes about whatever situation he was in. He was in over his head no matter the reason.

He gave a slight nod at the mans thanks "I don't make a habit of it, but you'r welcome" He waited patiently as the stranger headed for the door, confident he'd find his home no worse for wear when he got there at midnight.

One brow arched slightly as the man stopped and turned back, then a look of shock and pain lit his face and Craig's brows knit in thought. What the hell was he doing? What was he looking at across the bar that could both thrill and scare the shit out of him? He glanced over his shoulder to find a similar look on Angelina's face, and his confusion deepened for a moment. Then A single thought bloomed in his mind, this must be one of her ex's. He'd heard of two that had held a place in her heart, but he'd never been nosy enough to ask her about them. He'd heard they ad both died, though one had died many years before she'd known the other.

He stepped back, instinctively not wanting to be in between those gazes. His ears easily picked up the words coming from Angelina, and his gaze bounced back to the stranger. He couldn't give them privacy, not with his hearing, but he wasn't about to leave her unprotected with this stranger, even if she did know him.
