He was shocked when Sway ripped herself away from him, her blue eyes like chips of eyes as she spewed off angry words. He was confused and that only deepened when she said she didn't know who she was anymore...what did that even mean? And then the final blow hit home as she accused him of ruining everyone's lives. Anger was beginning to set in...his was not the only had that had guided his operation, and everyone would do well to remember that. "You flatter me, woman. But lets give some of that credit to Tumbler and Sphinx too, eh?" His looks at Nancy as he says this, still edgy about her tricking him to buy her booze. While he admired the strength she possessed to quit all on her own...he was feeling pretty raw about the fact that his appearance in town had broken that. When she spoke of their marriage in past tense, he all but winced. That he'd lost her had not yet fully registered in his memory-clouded brain, he supposed. The thought of it was not pleasant. "And don't forget, Sway....you were on your way out, too."

Then Stan appeared on the scene, and gave a one-sided smirk to the other man. "Just in time...it's heating up nice." He wanted a drink in the worst way. "Welcome home, by the way." He says sarcastically. All he needed was for Tumbler to show up, and this shin-dig would really get lively.

Angelina spoke of Sway's accident, and his brows knit together in concern. That explained a lot...for he and Sway had always been close, and the way she treated him now was unlike her. "Goddamn, Sway. I'm sorry. We didn't know. Freb didn't know. He tried to keep tabs the best he could but you...you just dropped off the map." He looked longingly at the Jack, wishing he'd refilled earlier.

Then the familiar blonde mechanic and his lil' blonde partner made their entrance. He'd hoped for Tumbler but the sight of the younger man was welcome...not to mention, from the way he held on to Laurie's hand, that it seemed not everyone's relationships were on the rocks. "Toby...glad to see you had safe travels." He said, giving a genuine grin. And then, to Laurie Ann. "Good to see you too, sweetie." He didn't like the nervous look on her face...though he didn't blame her. They'd walked right onto the front lines, it seemed.

She felt a hand come to a rest on her shoulder, and she twisted out from under it, sending an icy glare at the man who'd done it. "You don't touch me either. She all but hissed at him. She did not seek comfort from these men, nor did she want to be friendly. She wanted to learn, and to make her decisions from there. But not a second before. "You should've. Cars can be fixed." She returned to Nancy, lips curling devilishly.

She was grateful that Angelina had such a handle on the situation, explaining to everyone what had happened to her. She was furious with the man in the leather coat, but Angelina's old husband was on her list of unfavorable people too, at this point. "You bastard..." She said when Memphis brought up her leaving. She stood, standing level with him, seriously debating punching the man. "I was coming back. I decided you were screwed in the head for telling us to scatter and I was coming back." She snarled at him, her tension redlining.

Then two others came into view, and she stepped back from Memphis, peering at them. They didn't stir the simmering memories of her mind, but the blonde woman looked nervous. She felt a twinge of guilt and stepped away from Memphis fully then, letting out a sigh as she sank back onto her stool. What had she gotten herself into?
