still don't get some of the parts. For example--how did Doggett get in if Scully shot the door lock. It didn't open and a couple of rounds had to mess up that lock somehow.

I also wish I knew the tie-in to the ending. Were they in some sort of "Little Italy" and why did that one old guy at the end have such a funny scratchy, almost little-person voice? The pinball machine thing I didn't catch until it was mentioned above.

As for Bert--I thought he was stuck here on earth until that bad guy got killed. Like he was a guardian angel for the victims OR he was the good-number guy and the killer was the bad-number guy. Sort of a Ying and Yang thing. They hauled him out in a body bag at about the same time they hauled the bad guy out so there has to be a tie in there somehow. His comment of how Scully and Reyes needed him there made me think he was their protector or guardian angel. I actually enjoyed Bert Reynolds' acting in this one--it really was one of his better attempts since Smokey and the Bandit, I thought anyway.

The 6's gave me the creeps as I figured they were tied into the devil somehow and Scully seemed to sense that same thing. It probably reminded her of the 6's from Orison.
