Miss Teen Calgary 2008 = Danielle Kakoschke
1st Runner Up = Jackie McKinley
2nd Runner Up = Maddy Jackson
3rd Runner Up = Shazia Hassam
4th Runner Up = Camille Block

Talent Winners = Camille Block (Stand Up Comedy) & Paige Underhill (Singing)
Scholastic Award = Lauren Wiens (*Amoreena Ashe)
Friendship Award = Amoreena Ashe
Ticket Sales Award = Maria Izzo-Jarrett
* There was a new rule in place this year, where you can not win more than 1 award. While Amoreena Ashe did score the highest on the Scholastic exam the award was given to the 2nd place person.

I don't have pics yet but will try to post some soon.

It was a lovely evening and I was impressed with the contestants. Many were very confident and had good public speaking skills. There was 22 contestants this year.

I personally want to say congrats to my previous Miss Sun & Salsa contestants, Amoreena, Shazia & Olivia for a job well done. You all looked beautiful and should be proud of your accomplishments!
