There's nothing in the Four Lands rule set about this. If your logged on, your in the game. If your in the game, you can be targetted for roleplay and actions, some malicious by other players. Its a hard fact. There's also special items in the mud with a no_quit flag, meaning you can't log out while they're in your possession. This is to keep someone from logging out, not coming back and therefore keeping the said item out of play or using 'quit' as a method of protection. If your a character with one of these items then that little snippet of crap Skootz brought from some other mud obviously has no merit.
