The stallion states cooly, acting as if he sustained no anger at the other's counter-question. The mahogan' male makes no outward motions, but in his mind, hatefully wicked ideas formulate. The slight-of-build auburn answers the question, mentally, for only himself to hear. "I don't know." And the more he thought about it, the more internally depressed he was becoming. He waits a moment before speaking again to finally address the question more indirectly.

"Come closer."

The bay prompts neutrally, looking more at the sandy ground than at Shazaam. But his diverted gaze is not out of defeat, it is simply to survey the canvas beneath them. Delicately, the thoroughbred picks up an unshod black hoof and drags it across the sand in front of him creating a sort of boundary line.

"I have something to show you."

Adrian patiently waits for the Light King to near him even closer than they already are.
