[a large bay stallion walks along the sandy beach, scarred coat flinching away pesky flies. he turns his head, lobes perking at a small sound. his earthen hued ooids widen and he lumbers into a steady gallop, reaching the small filla as she hits the ground. kneeling beside her, he whuffles gently on her cheek, trying to urge her into consciousness. his massive head shields her from the too warm sun, and he sends out a loud bugle for help from others]
