Subject: Remember the Polls & Survey Board? I need some Lally advice.

The pastor where I work is retiring and we’re having a surprise going away party Sunday. I’m not sure what to put on the cake. She’s very upbeat and may continue a part time job so it’s not total retirement. Should it be a bit Holy? Blessings and congratulations? Any ideas?

And any ideas for cheap seasonal centerpieces? I need 6 and have no budget for it but am going to do something.

I got my ornament package yesterday- fabulous as always- and my first card last week. Thank you Lisa for the beautiful moon card ( I feel very connected to the moon - btw a Geminid meteor shower early tonite between dusk and midnight ) so I loved the messages and pictures.

And the Angel cards that are sad but let us show love and support to each other.

[> For the centerpieces, either a few candles, tapers or columns, whatever you or a member of the church have, with evergreen boughs...also from someone's yard. (buying greens right now is steep! If you were near MI, you could come to my yard for the greens) Or wrap some empty boxes in paper, Christmas or plain colors, with some greenery. If anyone has nice clear glass plates or bowls, put gold or silver ornaments in them, then add a small strand of battery powered Christmas lights or an battery powered tea light (check Dollar General for these.)
