Subject: Just now catching up on your week - you are always a hard act to follow!! Aging is interesting and frustrating. I can still dance, though I walk more reels than I care to admit these days. I never was athletic, I played softball in grad school so DH could also play. He nearly broke my leg with a line drive but touched base before he came to see how I was; crying on the grass. Could have been worse, usually I get hit in the face. I wonder if Raymond or the Comte will end up on Fraser's Ridge. I hope to hell they don't. That would be too contrived and I would only grudgingly finish the series. Leave them in France or stuck in the void. We suspect Raymond was in 1960's USA. WIth all that traveling he should be rather ephemeral looking, rather like the apparation instructor in Harry Potter; not quite solid, maybe missing more than a few molecules.

[> [> So does this just subtly tell us Clair, Raymond and the Comte are related? Betsy, I believe we all owe you $75 for a ticket to the comedy, it is wonderful! As we are of an age I understand and have wonderful mental images of the ‘60 and ‘70’s. You really do need to write a book of your bleathers. -- Margaret aging gracefully ;), Sat, April 02 2022, 7:01:07

[> [> [> I agree with you, Margaret! I love the laughs and head nods when I read Betsy’s blathers. Everyone, remember “The Grass Is Always Greener Over The Septic Tank”? Very similar, relatable humor. Kgp, I never thought of them showing up on the Ridge but it would be ridiculous. Besides Claire and le Comte, Dr McEwan also had the blue light healing for Roger and Buck. -- Kathy in PA, Sat, April 02 2022, 9:39:00

[> [> [> [> "The Grass is Always Greener....," written by Erma Bombeck. She was hysterical! She died was too young, waiting for a liver (? I think it was a liver transplant... ) Her family and friends all begged her to use her name recognition to get bumped to the top of the waiting list for a transplant and she said no. She'd wait her turn, just like everyone else. She died waiting. The comte on Fraser's Ridge? NNoNoNoNo. If Master Raymond popped in to see Claire, it wouldn't surprise me. He DID say he was searching for his "daughter." We'll see how this all pans out. -- Betsy BFS, Sun, April 03 2022, 13:15:14
