Right, I know they can tell that marijuana has been used, but, unlike alcohol, there is to BAC or anything to distinguish what is "too much" and what's "ok."

Of course it is- and that's why there are blood tests and breathalizers to determine who has been drinking. People who are high are not in the best state of mind (I know the same can be said for those who are tired, etc, but still), and I think there needs to be a way to monitor/test for that. *I* object to it being legal because I believe it would be abused much, much more often than it would be used recreationally in a safe environment.
