There would still be basic government standards that private schools would be required to maintain to be licensed. Do you mean to suggest you think that public schools are currently doing a better job than what you think the private sector, competing for tuition, could do? Right now public school teachers aren't even very accountable--in a public system they would be much more so. They would be paid in accordance to achievement in some cases.
