Thus the private schools, as now, would not want to take them. I also see other problems. In my community, the private schools are overwhelmingly religious. I don't think vouchers would change this significantly; I fear that vouchers would widen the gap between public and private, which would leave the alternatives for non-religious education even less appealing than they already are.
