 i do hope you are not trying to suggest what I think you are though. I really doubt that Borg nanoprobes could "assimilate" midiclorians. I'm pretty sure that while the person may or may not be able to ward off an attack, I am quite sure that beings that exsist in a metaphysical state and powerfully tied to the Force would simply be unaffected by little Borg nanobots. Affecting people is one thing, destroying the midiclorians who are living inside cells and are connected directly to the Force is quite another. We don't really know enough about them to say for sure. We do know with the proper sensors you can detect their presense in a person. But there is a big difference between finding them and eliminating them. Remember people can only use the Force with some limited control, The Force is a force of nature, different from ESP, psionics, of even magic. But its your story you can do what ever you like. Just thought you might want to be aware that midiclorians might be immune to Borg technology, simply because they are protected by the Force, even if the person they are in may not be. They are symboits. I suggested a cool reason why matter/energy devices were discouraged in the Star Wars universe. They temporaily block the connection between host and midiclorian symbiot for 1 to 6 hours. The Jedi realizing this be a terrible weapon secretly influenced the Senate of the Republic to outlaw them as unsafe and hazardess to life. After a few hundred years they were completely forgotten and only remembered now as unstable or don't work at all. A few examples of the technology exsist still. Most Jedi feel uneasy around them. During the Empire they were obviously made illegal by the Emperor. Anyone caught with one "disappered" permently!
