I can fall back on the New Jedi Order Series then, which backs up the near light speeds of Ion engines in Star Wars. X-Wings are fast, TIEs are faster and they use the same engines.

You underestimate the manuverability of TIEs, aswell as the numbers. 36 TIEs per ISD + 24 Interceptors (even faster) and 12 bombers with anti capitol ship missiles and torpedoes. The Jem'Hadar would be too busy swatting at the TIE fighters and Interceptors to bother with comparitively slow bombers by the time they realize thier mistake the concusion missiles will be shaking their ships to peices. And the 2 SSDs have 5 times that!

The Jem Hadar have their work cut out for them. They will die!
