 Taking a quick look back, he saw yet another warrior coming towards them. "Oh...this is bullshit..." Marcius muttered, looking back towards Cephis, whom was rushing at him. "You're going to wish you hadn't insulted me, merc." He takes a step back to give him enough room, then starts chanting and moving his free fingers. Just before he finishes, he spins and sends a gout of fire that covers the area of the new arrival(Saken). "You're going to pay even more for sneaking up on me though!" Turning back around, he notes the distance between he and Cephis.

Switching the sword once more, he charged at him. Just before they met, Marcius lunched forward, doing a diving-roll at Cephis' waist level. Just as the prince passes the mercenary, Marcius activates the beam sword; the energy blade barely misses the mercenary's side and back by half an inch.

With a smile, Marcius tucks and lands, popping back up and charges at Lans. He'd let the mercenary dwell a bit on how close death had come this time...let him know not to betray one of the Seven Emperors' sons.

"En garde, rebel! Prepare yourself for death!" Marcius shouted, his body flowing like molten lava towards Lans.
