I am in the middle of the keel box replacement at the mo.
I opted for galvanised in the end, but I dont know if it worked out any cheaper (approx £370 + vat) However, the cost did include drilling and tapping 3 new holes for the keel bolts in the casting and for producing a set of new bolts (set screws really) at £8.00 each! Three sheared off during removal and I don't trust the other five after the stresses we put on them. Apparently, they are a BSW thread which is not readily available. I hope I'm not contradicted by someone who's found them for 50p each at B&Q!
