I replaced the Dolphin in my T28 two years ago with a Beta 13.5hp. The worst job was removing the old Dolphin bearers as there was very little room to work. Glassing in the new bearers was reasonably staightforward. I found that I could not use the existing shaft as I had to locate the engine further forward than the Dolphin to get clearance for the the sump. This resulted in loosing the old moulded cabin steps and making up a new engine access and cabin step in timber.
