Five years ago when I got my 300,the P bracket was loose(about 1/4 inch up and down movement). The cure was to grind two vertical faces in the hull each side of the P bracket, the hull is very thick at this point, drill through and fit 2 heavy bolts, then fair over with fibre glass and forget it. I check at every scrub down and lift out, but its as secure as the day the repair was done, and I seem to recall it cost about 35 to do. Good Luck! John.
