Pull a rope to the top of your mast with the main halyard, when it gets to the top, mark the rope at deck level. add on a bit for the height from the water to the deck. lower the rope, go to B&Q, buy a tape measure take it to the boat and measure the lenghth from the mark on the rope to the end that was atached to the halyard. Or take the rope to the said bridge hang it over the side at high tide. if it touches the water wait for the tide to go out, if you've waited 6 hours and its still touching then you have a problem.
