Hi Neil, don't despair. I know there is nothing as bad as a bad cup of tea. Pamino has a Plastimo bag and a Aquapure filter under the tap. All we have done each year is swill the bag out with Milton, pump it out through the pipes, change the filter and tea like it came from home. Our bag stays half full almost all of the time without any chemicals added by us. Our Plastimo bag is about 3 years old and I would imagine the pipe work 10 or 12. Take the bag out and take it home with you to clean at home, meanwhile use a small clean bottle and connect to your pipework to see if the problem is in the pipes. All the best
