We are looking to purchase a Trapper 300 yacht at the moment. Its 1978 in good condition except the engine is gone and we need to replace it. Any advice. It was a YSE8. Should we replace with a Yanmar or can we go with a different brand of engine. We are living in West Cork Ireland and finding it very difficult to come across second hand engines. Any suggestions greatfully received.
