Tim,
Nautibuoy is fitted with a proprietary teak faced double drop down locker lid locker about 1 metre long attached to wooden frame ( looks home made but internal out of sight).
Lockers extend down from deck head about 250 mm. The lockers cover the inst panel but this easily accessed via lid.A great idea that previous owner had was to fit 75mm glass jar caps to wood strip on u/s of deckhead inside locker. Jellied eel /mussel bottles ( well I did buy it from Essex!)100mm deep, they screw on upright. I keep all my fastners, electrics spares, odds and ends there and its great for finding things quickly. There is still plenty of space below the jars.
Also fitted with a tray and fiddle to right of steps level with bottom of cockpit moulding above port bunk and a tray and fiddle 75 mm outboard behind steps at same level.
Sorry no trays spare, all still in use but you could try Plastimo or other catalogue for alternates eg fire ext housing Page 368.
I hope to fit loose covers to bunks etc this winter - any ideas on where to get mould resistant fabric at reasonable price?
Paul
