I had the same thing happen under power whilst driving into a F6. Water had got into the laminate joins and weakened it. I made a new tiller from ash strips which I bent around a jig I made up and glued together with epoxy glue, I also added an extra strip for strengh. before I decided to make my own I got some quotes which ranged from £250- £350. I very pleased with the final result and the contrast of the ash and dark epoxy glue lines looks great. I made a pattern from the broken bits using a roll of wall lining paper. The jig was quite simple to make using cheap 19mm ply as the baking board and dowling as the pegs to form the timber strips around. Once it had set it is easy to shape the handle end with a spoke shave.
