Fleur de Leigh is moored on a swinging outer trot deep water mooring on the Thames just upstream of Tilbury Docks. The boats have approx 40 feet separation. Vary rarely visits a marina, so I think the problem lies in the vessel itself. Last season, April to november, the shaft anode was about 60% depleted, but the anode in the engine water jacket was only about 10% depleted. If I fit an anode to the steel fin keel, will I need to ground the engine to a keel bolt? Thoughts please. Regards John.
