I have fixed the leak It was not through the anchor locker as it looks like it has had some Glass fibre work done on it before I got the boat. I discovered a bolt missing from the stem head fitting. I replaced it and also sealed around the fitting and it's been dry now for at least 4 weeks. (no rainwater)
I'm keeping my fingers crossed till the next time I'm out and its rough enough for the bows to be dipping under the water. I'll see what happens then!
