Well done, a great boat, but then all of us here would think that. As with any boat of there age there will be a few problems, but they are only problems if you allow them. Yes stanchions have the habit of getting stuck, coca-cola is good at un sticking them, but does in turn leave a sticky mess, toe rails leak some lovely black goo when it gets warm, BUT, the trade off is the fantastic sailing ability of these craft, the space down below, the stiffness in a blow and the general feeling of safety that they ooze. Ours had a roller boom that has been fixed and we now have slab reefing, haven't had the chance to look to see how, but will have a look at the weekend. Chain plates can leak, this needs to be kept in check as the deck has a balsa core. Trapper smile, just three weeks ago I scraped out the gunge that was in the hull keel join, re-sealed with sikaflex and painted over with anti-foul. Had dry bilge before, still have dry bilge. Remember that these are old ladies now, so don't view them as problems, just her character, it becomes a problem once you neglect here, just like an old person. Have many hours of safe sailing
